Basketball
The base of the frame shall consist of structural steel tubing, comprising of 120 x 60 x 3 mm, 100 x 50 x 3 mm and 50 x 50 x 3 mm square tubing, and formed sheet metal parts welded together to form a rectangle. The base supports two structural steel columns consisting of 100 x 50 x 5 mm and 40 x 40 x 5 mm steel tubes welded together. The columns are supported on hinges with Ø 40 mm shaft at bearing ends on the base. On the columns is supported the overhang beam of 125 x 125 x 5 mm tube holding the backboard. The overhang beam shall have an extension of 3200 mm from the front base pad to the front of the backboard glass. The unit will come preassembled with 600 kg of ballast weight.
