The right softness for the task
Warm-up, spotting, methodical training and landing all need different mats. A 4 cm folding mat is right for stretching and wrong for a dismount; a 70 cm crash mat with foam beams and air pockets replicates a landing pit for halls that do not have one. Freewill helps specify the mix so a hall is covered without over-buying.
