Competition Springboard
The competition springboard is the last contact point before a vault, and its characteristics decide what is possible in the air. The Moscow series is FIG certified and equipped with the Whisper Spring System, available as a soft five-spring version and a hard eight-spring version so gymnasts of different power and body weight each get the rebound profile that suits them.
Two spring profiles, one standard
Springboard choice is personal. Lighter gymnasts and those still developing run-up speed generally take the five-spring soft version; powerful seniors take the eight-spring hard version. Both share the same FIG-certified platform, so a hall can hold one of each and cover an entire squad.
