Hook and Loop Tape
Hook and loop tape is what turns separate mats into a single, safe competition area. Blue needle-felt-covered tape joins mats edge to edge without a lip; white tape marks the competition area to specification. Both are supplied by the running metre for repairs or in pre-cut lengths and replacement sets sized to a full 14 x 14 m surface.
The detail that makes a surface homogeneous
Gaps and steps between mats are a genuine injury risk. Correctly specified connecting tape holds the surface flat under load and is replaced as a wear item rather than being allowed to degrade. Freewill stocks both widths and the full replacement sets so a hall is never out of service waiting on consumables.
